      Are the benspost.org contractors pre-screened?

Many of them are checked for being either licensed, insured, bonded or having at least 3 positive references but it is up to the contractors to provide this information to us. Once they submit this information and the information is checked they will receive a verification seal that is placed at the top right hand corner of their profile. We encourage the homeowners to perform their due diligence when in the process of hiring a contractor. Make sure you ask plenty of questions, check for references and have the work performed under a written contract/agreement.
